Record of responsibilities

Record of responsibilities

Complying with legislative requirements inevitably means keeping a number of documents up-to-date. For this reason, it’s best to keep a record of who is responsible for each form.

Record of responsibilities

One inevitable side-effect of managing health and safety is the multitude of different paperwork that needs to be completed in order to comply with various legislative requirements. For example, there will be risk assessments, training records and test and inspection certificates. In practice, it’s likely that several employees will be responsible for keeping and updating these records. A good way of keeping track of who is responsible is to use a Record of Responsibilities.

Table layout

This record is divided into two columns. The left hand one details each document and the column on the right allows for the name and position of the person responsible to be recorded. Just update details as responsibilities change.
